Desert Dynamics buggy with a Chevrolet V8 engine that can drive on public roads (24 photos + 1 video)

This Desert Dynamics off-road racing buggy is equipped with rear-mounted Chevrolet LS1 V8 engine and, surprisingly, it has been successfully registered for road use.





The other day, an online auction was held on the “Bring a Trailer” portal for the Desert Dynamics buggy. This all-terrain vehicle is built on the basis spatial steel frame with light-alloy hung on it panels.



However, the interior of the model is almost completely open, and from the glasses - there is only wind. Four bucket-shaped seats with sports seat belts.





The all-terrain vehicle is powered by a V8 engine of the LS1 series, which first debuted back in 1997 on the Chevrolet Corvette C5. His power in the stock version reaches 350 hp. How much does the unit give out on a buggy - it is unknown, but it is installed at the back and works in conjunction with three speed automatic.



Desert Dynamics boasts of having a fully independent long-travel suspension, which allows the all-terrain vehicle to confidently feel on any surface. The brakes of the model are disc and multi-piston (on all wheels).



Interestingly, this buggy differs from its “classmates” access to public roads. Specifically exhibited on auction copy has California numbers. As part of the auction managed to sell for $58,000.
