Ferrari F50 of British singer Rod Stewart has found a new owner (25 photos + 1 video)
Recently, at the Collecting Cars auction, a Ferrari F50 supercar was sold, the first owner of which was the famous British rock musician Rod Stewart. A total of 349 supercars of this model were produced. The final price was £2,940,500.
The supercar was built in 1996. Maranello Concessionaires imported it to the UK, where it was first registered in June 1997. In 2002, the car was delivered from London to Dubai, but in 2007 it returned back to the United Kingdom. This F50 has had a total of seven owners and only has 17,700 kilometers on the clock.
At some point, the supercar was repainted dark gray and the seats were customized, but then the Zanasi Group returned it to its original specification: now the car again has a red body and a black interior with red inserts on the seats. The F50 retains the original 4.7-liter 519-horsepower V12, six-speed manual transmission, and 18-inch wheels. All this, among other things, allowed her to receive a Ferrari Classiche certificate of authenticity, which is included in the lot along with a full package of documents and a set of branded accessories. The F5 OAB license plate is not included in the offer.
The supercar was regularly serviced, most recently in August of this year. According to the seller, it is now in fully working condition.
