The Japanese can build a floating city for 40 thousand people (3 photos + 1 video)

17 June 2023

Architectural company N-Ark from Japan showed the project the floating city of Dogen, designed to accommodate 40 thousand people: 10 thousand of them will be permanent residents, and the rest will be tourists.

The city will not be afraid of rising sea levels, since the entire infrastructure was designed to be completely autonomous and self-sufficient - from generating energy to providing residents with food and water.

The project will be divided into three separate levels: habitable ring; city management centers with research centers; floating architecture.

N-Ark believes that if the project is of interest to investors, then Dogen could become a reality by 2030.
