Florida-based ECD Automotive Design specializes in restoration and improvement of Land Rover vehicles. Their latest creation - updated convertible Defender 110, which the company calls Project Hutton.





ECD Automotive Design has made a name for itself in refinishing Land Rover vehicles, and we are talking about restoration before original condition, and deep tuning of the British SUVs. The favorite model for specialists has become the original Land Rover Defender, which the company willingly turns into exquisite restomods, not even devoid of luxury. It is among these that a new project based on the Defender 110, which was turned into an expensive one cabriolet, designed for eight people at once.



The car, dubbed Project Hutton, is based on the Land Rover Defender 110 Soft Top After careful restoration specialists instead of a standard engine then installed 640-horsepower compressor V8 6.2 LT4 manufactured by General Motors, complemented by an 8-speed automatic transmission and reinforced axes. The standard brakes were replaced with Brembo mechanisms.





Brakes, yellow dials of the new instrument panel and yellow belts refer to Ferrari sports cars, and the soft blue color of the Frozen body Blue is taken from the Porsche color palette. Such an unusual color is combined with pure white Caressa Silver Touch leather used for upholstery salon.



Including benches in the luggage compartment, Project Hutton can take on board eight people. The car received 18-inch wheels with off-road tires BF Goodrich, painted in silver color power body kit, and The removable soft top is made of white vinyl.
