An American crossed a classic Mustang with an electric Tesla Model 3 (7 photos + 1 video)

Tesla's official Instagram account recently posted a video showing a classic Ford Mustang rolling up to its owner on its own and almost silently. You can see Tesla electric car parts in the cabin.





Judging by the description, Calimotivee, a company specializing in servicing American brand electric cars and selling components for them, had a hand in creating the electric restomod based on the 1966 muscle car. There are few details about the project itself, but the photos on the owner's page show the various stages of the car's construction.

From the pictures it follows that the Mustang body was deprived of the bottom and married to the Tesla Model 3 platform, including the battery pack in the floor, the rear subframe with a 320-horsepower electric motor and the entire suspension, as well as the front subframe. It is claimed that the donor for the project was the Long Range version with a declared power reserve of up to 584 km.

The interior is also partially borrowed from the Model 3. The signature seats and large display in the center of the dashboard catch the eye, while the steering wheel seems to have been borrowed from the Cybertruck. It is noteworthy that the author managed to preserve the capabilities of a wide range of driver assistants.
