Troll Guests Sent Hotel Staff the Most Absurd Requests... And They Actually Delivered! (15 Photos)
Remember the movie Home Alone 2 and the total freedom young Kevin McCallister enjoyed while staying at a luxury hotel in downtown New York after getting lost? Your room, your rules. Some travelers take that sentiment to heart and mess around by submitting hilariously absurd special requests to hotel staff. And guess what? The staff actually fulfills them!
Here is proof of the incredible ingenuity and creative spark of hotel employees who can make virtually any wish come true. Let’s just hope they got a great tip for their trouble...
“I asked for a camel in my room…”
“Asked for a blanket fort, a 'No Girls Allowed' sign, and a towel elephant.”
“Every time my girlfriend and I go on vacation, I always put 'a framed picture of a horse saying hi' in the special requests section when booking online. A hotel finally delivered.”
This hotel pays attention to even the smallest guest requests. The request read: “Three red M&M’s on the counter. Not packages, just three individual M&M’s. One for me, one for my girlfriend, and a third to split if we get hungry late at night. Plus a picture of bacon on the bed. I love pictures of bacon.”
“I wrote: 'I would like a drawing of a dinosaur, please' in the special requests field.”
“Please provide a picture of a dog dressed as a ship captain and place it on the bed, thank you.”
“Please, could I get a photo of Nicolas Cage from Con Air on the bed by 6 o'clock?” — “We are happy to assist you. Ramon.” — “Thank you!”
“I’d appreciate it if you drew a picture of what you think I look like and left it on the bed.”
Staff couldn't find a stegosaurus as requested, so they left a different dinosaur along with an apology explaining that stegosauruses are pretty hard to come by these days.
“When I booked the hotel a few months ago, I made a few joke requests... Champagne, roses, and a plastic dinosaur.”
“Left a special request while booking a hotel.”
“Please place photos of Alfonso Ribeiro and Jeremy Jackson on the bed facing each other.”
“Please build a fort on our bed out of five extra pillows. We would also appreciate a towel elephant. If possible, a sexy photo of some fruit on the nightstand would be great.”
“If it's not too much trouble, could you build a pillow fort? It is definitely not for a 28-year-old man.”
