Let’s get back to those Poles; I think I’ve figured it out—it’s not trains they dislike, but crossing gates.
On September 23, at a crossing on Wojska Polskiego Street in Wałcz, a 48-year-old female cyclist rode onto the tracks despite the red light and the lowering crossing gates. Police officers on patrol spotted the incident. The cyclist admitted her mistake and was fined 2,000 zlotys.
