Scientists Have Discovered How Many Times You Need to Ejaculate to Stay Healthy (3 photos)
Harvard scientists have discovered that increased sexual activity can protect men from prostate cancer. They published their results in the European Journal of Urology. It turns out that the more a man ejaculates, the lower the risk of prostate problems.
American urologists based their findings on observations of 32,000 men. After closely studying their sex lives, the scientists discovered that ejaculation should be done at least 21 times a month. It doesn't matter how this occurs—during sex or masturbation.
Those who follow this rule have a 33 percent lower risk of developing prostate cancer. In an article on the benefits of ejaculation, the researchers conclude:
"This large, prospective study provides the most compelling evidence to date of the beneficial role of ejaculation in prostate cancer prevention."
However, the scientists clarified that they have not yet fully studied the link between prostate cancer and ejaculation. It is believed that frequent ejaculation helps prevent congestion in this organ. It is also possible that ejaculation removes carcinogens from the prostate.
While studying this issue, urologists discovered that ejaculation is actually beneficial for the body. It reduces stress, promotes sound sleep, and even reduces inflammation in the male genitourinary system. Previously, scientists from the Kinsey Institute in the US explained how many times a year people of different ages should have sex.
