A new Toyota Hilux in Japan was valued at 27,000 euros (14 photos)
The current version of the Toyota Hilux was unveiled in November 2025 and is gradually going on sale in various countries around the world. Now, Toyota has announced the launch of sales in its home country, Japan.
Customers in the Land of the Rising Sun will receive the ninth-generation Hilux in two trim levels: with plug-in all-wheel drive and a 2.8-liter diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. All versions are equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense suite of electronic assistance systems with adaptive cruise control and automatic braking, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, climate control, Multi-Terrain Select and Multi-Terrain Monitor off-road assistance systems, and much more.
The starting price of the Toyota Hilux in Japan is 4,980,800 yen (€27,000), while the top-of-the-line Adventure trim costs 5,500,000 yen (€30,000).
