A rare Toyota Mega Cruiser SUV has been put up for auction (35 photos)
The Toyota Mega Cruiser SUV in the civilian version was put up for online auction. Only 133 cars were produced, and this is one of them. At the moment, the bid for the car is $ 36,000, but there are still 3 days left before the end of the auction. 
The Toyota Mega Cruiser features portal axles with a fully-steered chassis and has a ground clearance of 420 millimeters. The car is equipped with a standard diesel "four" with a volume of 4.1 liters, developing 153 hp and 382 Nm. The engine works with a four-speed automatic, transfer case and three differential locks.
The Mega Cruiser's ascetic interior is designed for six passengers, is finished in fabric and has electric windows, air conditioning and a stereo system.
The SUV was imported to the United States in July of this year from Japan and has right-hand drive. In addition, after delivery to the States, the Mega Cruiser was equipped with 17-inch wheels with 37-inch BFGoodrich tires.
As a rule, such SUVs are more expensive, despite the right-hand drive. For example, in November last year, rates for one of the examples with a mileage of 168 thousand kilometers reached 86.5 thousand dollars, and a year earlier a deal for 310 thousand was recorded.
