A large-scale entertainment complex, the Sphere, is planned for Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, akin to the iconic Las Vegas structure. The facility is expected to open by 2029, and its capacity will be approximately 20,000 spectators, potentially making it even larger than the American version. The new project will be part of the larger development of Yas Island, already considered one of the UAE's premier entertainment and tourism hubs. The developers promise to retain the Sphere's signature feature—a giant dome with high-tech screens and a fully immersive experience for spectators.
