A giant sphere made of LED panels was launched in Las Vegas. This is a must see
In the heart of Las Vegas, a new attraction called The Sphere has appeared, which is a 111-meter-high ball covered with 1.2 million LEDs.
Various animations were launched to showcase the project on a 53,880-square-meter screen, including fireworks, the American flag, the moon, and even a giant eyeball.
Inside the ball is a spherical theater with 18,000 seats, as well as a circular LED screen with a resolution of 16K. The entire project cost Sphere Entertainment more than $2 billion.
Panels of 48 individual LEDs are spaced eight inches apart, and each can display 256 million different colors, according to The Verge. The official opening of the "Sphere" will take place only in September 2023, but until then it will be played every night.
