First photos of the updated Kia XCeed (3 photos)

The raised hatchback has been noticeably transformed both outside and inside.





Kia has announced the imminent market debut of the second facelift of the XCeed crossover hatch. Full details about the new model will be revealed later, but for now, the company has decided to share a few photos.

Judging by the photos, the XCeed's exterior now features the current signature style, with vertical headlights at the front and fanged taillights at the rear, connected by an LED strip. Kia has decided not to specify the car's dimensions, but it's logical to assume that the new bumpers have added a bit of length to the hatchback. The current XCeed measures 4,395 mm from bumper to bumper with a 2,650 mm wheelbase.



The interior has also undergone radical changes. Designers have completely redesigned the dashboard, replacing the separate instrument cluster and multimedia tablet with a single display with a pair of 12.3-inch screens. The push-button climate control unit has been replaced by a touchscreen unit, but with a pair of physical dials, and the heating and defroster controls are now located on either side of the automatic transmission selector. The model also received a new signature steering wheel and is claimed to boast a more comprehensive equipment selection.



The powertrain lineup is still being kept under wraps. The company only clarified that the lineup will include not only pure gasoline units but also mild hybrids. It's highly likely that the facelift will inherit the engines from the current XCeed without any significant changes. This means that under the hood, you'll find 1- and 1.6-liter turbocharged engines with outputs ranging from 115 to 180 hp.

The updated XCeed will be produced at the brand's plant in Slovakia. The car is expected to go into production on May 29, and will arrive in showrooms across the Old Continent by the end of 2026.
