Hyundai has published the first images of the updated Tucson crossover. Changes in appearance will not be too significant, but the car will receive a completely new interior. The premiere of the car for the European market is scheduled for early next year.
From the outside, the updated Hyundai Tucson can be identified by its radiator grille with new filling and redesigned optics, which retain the same concept, but look different. The bumper received a massive silver trim. Images of the rear of the crossover have not yet been published, but it is promised that changes will occur there too.
The completely redesigned front part of the interior features a new front fascia with pronounced horizontal lines. The panel received a developed shelf for small items and narrow ventilation deflectors. The center console has been reduced to another air conditioning control panel, as the previously used separate screens have been replaced by a slightly curved monoblock of two 12.3-inch displays.
The tunnel received a new configuration thanks to the transfer of the transmission selector to the steering column - two cup holders and wireless charging for gadgets appeared here. The company also mentions new interior finishing options, including the ability to design in three colors at once.
There is no data on improvements to the technical part of the Tucson yet. It is possible that the crossover will retain the current engine range, which includes both conventional internal combustion engines and hybrids, but the power units will be improved for greater efficiency.
