In Japan, there's a cafe where visitors can try coffee aged by the owner for years. A single cup costs around $700.
The Munch cafe was opened by master brewer Tanaka-san back in 1981. The prices here are impressive: a single cup of the signature drink costs around $700. And if a full cup is too expensive, you can buy just a spoon for $20.
The unusual recipe arose by accident. One day, the owner left some prepared coffee in the refrigerator for several months. He later tasted it and was surprised by the unusual taste. From then on, he began deliberately "aging" the coffee, aging it for years.
