A Kiosk with a Robot Salesman

15 April 2026

In China, there are grocery kiosks staffed by robots instead of humans. They leisurely stroll up to the merchandise and just as leisurely deliver it to customers.

In Galbot's new AI-powered stores, customers are served by humanoids: you select and pay for your order at a kiosk, and a robot hands out your purchase.

To date, 20 such stores have opened in seven cities, and the first hundred are expected to open by the end of the year.
