Chinese Woman Carves Carrot Sculptures with Her Teeth
25-year-old Chen Qin from Hubei Province has gained fame thanks to her unusual talent: she creates complex carrot sculptures almost exclusively with her teeth. Her arsenal includes animal figurines and even miniature replicas of the Great Wall of China.
Chen has no formal sculpting training: she studied graphic design and 3D modeling, and discovered her passion for carving by chance in 2025. She has now completed over 100 works. It takes up to a week to create these complex compositions. Almost all of the work is done with her teeth, which she demonstrates in her videos.
Despite her popularity, Chen admits that this hobby causes tooth and jaw pain, so she advises against it. She currently uses her work, among other things, to tell stories, and plans to recreate the famous Chinese painting "By the River on All Souls' Day."
