In Taiwan, a monkey broke into a private home and stole food from the table. When the owner approached the monkey with a stick, it unexpectedly hit it on the head.
In Kaohsiung, Taiwan, two monkeys robbed a house and were caught on video, according to Jam Press.
According to the owner, the animals entered the kitchen early in the morning. They were looking for food while the woman's children slept peacefully nearby. She was awakened by the noise, saw the monkeys, and armed herself with a stick to scare them away.
By that time, the animals had already left the house and were perched on the wall near the threshold. One of the monkeys stole an egg roll from the table and was enjoying it. When the woman approached with a stick, the monkey hit her on the head and ran away. The blow was painful and unexpected, causing the woman to trip but regain her balance. The homeowner noted that she wasn't afraid of animals, but after this intrusion she would buy repellents.
