A monkey stole a tourist's passport
A tourist visiting Bali (Indonesia) was injured by a monkey. The animal crept up to the woman and stole her passport from her bag.
The woman should have been more careful and keep an eye on her things, because the monkey stole something very important from her bag - a passport. After this, the animal calmly sat down to study the document. The tourist tried to offer the monkey an ordinary piece of paper in exchange for a passport, but the thief was not attracted to such a deal.
No one had any food with them, so it was also not possible to bribe the monkey with something tasty. Finally, someone thought of offering the monkey some water, after which she left the passport alone.
Alas, all these troubles continued for so long that the animal managed to almost completely destroy the document.
