Record holder folds 250 paper airplanes in an hour

Richard Defries had long dreamed of getting into the Guinness Book of World Records and wondered how he could achieve this feat. Unfortunately, he's neither the strongest nor the most agile.

But it turns out that the Tyler, Texas, resident is the fastest at folding paper airplanes. His dream of a world record came true, as he managed to create 250 paper airplanes in an hour. Although the achievement wasn't easy for Richard, it was worth it. As soon as he realized he'd become a record-breaker, he said the feeling could only be described in one word: amazing.

According to Guinness World Records rules, all airplanes must be functional, so 250 airplanes were tested and confirmed to be flyable.
