A collection of rare Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche supercars will be auctioned off (9 photos)
At the end of January, RM Sotheby's will hold a sale in Arizona of a supercar collection consisting of nine rare and partially vintage models. The Longhorn Collection includes Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches, and is expected to fetch a combined price of over $17 million.

The collection includes two Ferrari models, both considered flagships at different times. The 1995 F50 supercar, with an impressive mileage of 13,200 kilometers (8,200 miles), is expected to fetch between $7 million and $9 million; only 349 of these cars were ever produced. The second model is noticeably newer (2015) and has lower mileage (just over 3,100 kilometers), but the Ferrari LaFerrari is expected to sell for between $4.5 million and $5 million.
The Maranello marque is also represented by the Scuderia Spider 16M (499 cars, priced between $750,000 and $900,000), the Superamerica ($300,000 and $350,000), the 328 GTB ($175,000 and $225,000), and the 575M Maranello ($125,000 and $175,000).
The Longhorn Collection also includes two Lamborghini Countachs: a 1977 LP400 Periscopo with a top estimate of $900,000 and a 1989 25th Anniversary Edition for $500,000.
Finally, the Porsche brand is represented in the selection by a single model: a 356 B Super 90 roadster with a Drauz body. This is the oldest car in the collection: the sports car was built in 1960 and is valued similarly to the 575M Maranello. Furthermore, it is the only lot with a black body; the other cars are painted red.
