A Chinese student controls flying swords

An engineering student from China demonstrated flying swords. They are controlled with special gloves and fly on mini-drones. He also demonstrated how he flies a short distance on a sword platform.

A young man from Chengdu has recreated the "flying swords" from Chinese fantasy films using drones. Viral videos show a swarm of devices rising into the air, responding to the man's gestures.

A tech enthusiast has also created a flying sword platform, but the device is still being developed.
