With the help of a gamepad, a program and electrodes, a guy can make his facial muscles move.
A Japanese student wrote a program with which he learned to control his face. The project is called ROS-Face. The idea is that electrodes connected to the controller send weak electrical impulses to the muscles and set them in motion. Also connected to the controller is a gamepad and a processor on which a program distributes the assignment of keys and electrical impulses.
On the GitHub website, the Japanese posted detailed instructions on how to configure and create such a device.
The programming language for Arduino devices is based on C/C++. The Japanese noted that it is easiest to use the program on this platform. Any joystick will do, and so will the electrodes. For the best effect, the Japanese advises to wet your face.
