A rare supercar from the creator of the McLaren F1 is wanted for $20 million (24 photos)
RM Sotheby's has announced what the organizers are calling an unprecedented auction. A GMSV S1 LM supercar will be auctioned at the November Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas. It's one of only five planned for assembly by a special division of Gordon Murray's company, the developer of the iconic McLaren F1. The car itself doesn't exist yet: according to the auctioneers, it has yet to be assembled. The very first production slot has been valued at over $20 million.
