Scientists filmed remoras riding a whale

Scientists have captured rare footage. A camera captured several remora fish riding a whale.

Sea "steals"

Scientists installed cameras on whales to observe the lives of marine life and discovered that the remora fish conserve energy by riding the mammals—a combination of food and transportation.

The remoras feed on dead skin and parasites and cause no discomfort to the whales. However, the giants seem to be irritated by the abundance of such passengers and often jump out of the water for no apparent reason: at this point, the remora fish "jump off" from the transport. However, they return to their positions almost immediately.
