In the US, a soccer match was stopped because a boy ran onto the field.
The match ended with a score of 5–1 in favor of Minnesota. At the end of the game, the team's coach jokingly said that it was too early to give the little offender a lifetime ban from the stadium.
This is the third time in five years at the tournament that a child has run onto the field during a match. The last similar incident occurred a year ago in a match between D.C. United and Chicago.
