Football match in India interrupted twice due to bee invasion
The Mumbai City vs Inter Kashi India Cup match was stopped due to uninvited winged guests who suddenly appeared on the pitch.
In the 28th minute, the linesman was forced to flee from a swarm of bees by rushing towards the centre of the pitch. After a 4-minute break, the game resumed, but the bees returned. The referee fell to the ground, and a team member tried to protect him by covering him with towels.
Eventually, the decision was made to change the bright yellow kit to black, which allowed the game to resume in the 44th minute. Despite the extreme circumstances, Mumbai City managed to maintain concentration and won 1-0, advancing to the semi-finals of the Super Cup.
