A cargo ship ran aground, and locals rushed to "rescue" the goods

A cargo ship en route from Jacksonville to Puerto Rico ran aground and listed, caught in coral. It's impossible to move it. Almost immediately after the accident, dozens of small boats appeared around the barge.

Locals climbed onto the deck and began carrying away the goods. Some consider this looting, others a kind of "cargo salvage," but one thing is clear: the ship has become the center of activity on the water.
