In the US, after death, you can be turned into fireworks. A US startup has developed a funeral service that adds ashes to fireworks. According to the creators, this allows relatives to bid a more "celebratory" farewell to the deceased.

The process is as follows:

- The body is cremated
- The family chooses the colors of the fireworks
- Some of the deceased's ashes are mixed with the chosen colors
- The fireworks are assembled
- The family detonates them
