"Firework jellyfish" (lat. Atolla wyvillei) is a rare species of deep-sea jellyfish that lives in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. It gets its name from its bioluminescent tentacles, which shimmer and shimmer in different colors.

The firecracker jellyfish has a bell-shaped body about 6 inches in diameter. It has long, thin tentacles covered with glowing cells. When a jellyfish feels threatened, it emits flashes of light to scare away predators.
