An alligator monitored the golfer's swing

In Mississippi, an alligator closely watched a golfer as he teed off in shallow water.

The observant reptile was captured on video during the PGA Tour Sanderson Farms tournament. On the 11th hole of the Jackson course, the golfer's ball hit a water hazard. Vince Whaley was forced to tee off into the shallows, but he wasn't alone—the predator was watching him from beneath the water.

However, the golfer kept his cool and calmly took the shot. The alligator didn't attack—the camera merely captured its intense gaze. Whaley ultimately finished third in the tournament.
