Clarkson, Hammond and May team up to film a new show (1 photo)
Although former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May said after The Grand Tour ended that they did not plan to continue working together, they are in fact continuing to work together. A new show called The Not Very Grand Tour will premiere in mid-April, which can be roughly translated as “Not That Grand Tour”.
The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) defines the genre of the new show as “documentary comedy”. As far as can be understood from the description of the first episode, it will be devoted mainly to memories of the presenters’ previous joint adventures and a comparison of the advantages of internal combustion engines and electric motors.
At the moment, the BBFC mentions only one episode of The Not Very Grand Tour, although it claims that it will be the beginning of a whole season. It was filmed by Phil Churchward, known for his previous work with Top Gear and The Grand Tour. It is noteworthy that, according to the council, work on the episode was completed last year.
