Despite criticism from men, a woman mastered the most popular profession in India
Safura Khan, a resident of the Indian city of Bangalore, loved cars and motorcycles since childhood, and then decided to make a living as a taxi driver. Despite criticism and insulting words behind her back from men that this is not a job for a woman, she says that she loves her job.
The story of the young driver went viral - it gained more than 1.2 million views. Blogger Tanvir decided to go on business and ordered an auto rickshaw, and then she was stunned by the fact that a young and beautiful girl was driving.
During the trip, they got to talking, and this conversation was filmed. Safura said that she always loved driving. Despite financial difficulties that did not allow her to buy a car, she chose an auto rickshaw to fulfill her dream and earn money on her own terms in a male-dominated industry.
"I love driving any kind of transport - a car, a rickshaw, a motorcycle. I just had enough money for a rickshaw. So I thought: I'll start with a rickshaw, and then we'll see if I can buy a car. I don't feel like it's Monday and I have to go to work. I enjoy every day, I'm happy and full of energy," she explained.
Safura herself says that her plans are simple - to raise money and buy a wonderful car for a taxi in order to earn a lot of money. Now the Indian woman runs an Instagram page*, where she shows her everyday driving on the streets of Bangalore.
