The number of VPN (Virtual private network) app downloads has increased dramatically in Britain in recent days. This happened after a law came into force, according to which porn sites and other platforms in Britain introduced mandatory verification of the user's age in order to protect children from unwanted content.
VPN programs allow a user to virtually "change their address" by routing their requests through servers in other countries. British users can also use them to pretend to be from another country - and thus circumvent the provisions of the Online Security Act, which came into force on Friday, July 25.

He consulted a plastic surgeon last year after claiming two of his modifications had started to rot.
He now wants to remove all the foreign bodies from under his skin to create a "clean slate", but this is proving difficult as non-medical workers cannot currently get a license to carry out body modifications in the UK; only those with a surgical license can legally do so.
