A Scottish inventor has demonstrated a bicycle-powered canoe that can travel on both water and land.
A regular canoe is unlikely to cause a storm of emotions, unless you are paddling it near a waterfall. But the canoe in this video, created by a Scottish enthusiast, is a completely different matter. He took a canoe, a bicycle and a little engineering stubbornness, and as a result, he got a hybrid that travels on land and floats on water.
The design looks like it was assembled in a barn based on childhood fantasies and video games of the late 90s. However, everything works perfectly, the canoe rushes forward, causing a mixture of admiration and disbelief in everyone who sees it.
