Russian Su-25 shot down by friendly fire near occupied Soledar
Russian troops lost a Su-25 attack aircraft as a result of "friendly fire" over the occupied Soledar in the Donetsk region. The video was distributed in Russian public groups, Censor.NET reports.
"The reasons for the Su-25 crash have been established, so to speak. The pilot is in the hospital. His arm is broken. What was violated here and who is to blame for this accident, the commission will figure out," commented z-blogger Ilya Tumanov and the author of the aviation Telegram channel Fighterbomber.
The incident was also confirmed by Ukrainian OSINT analyst AviVector.
According to him, during a combat mission, a pair of Su-25 attack aircraft, which took off from the Taganrog-Tsentralny airfield, were operating in the Ugledar-Avdiivka direction. During this, one of the aircraft crashed and crashed. The pilot managed to eject. A Mi-8MTPR helicopter arrived to the crash site to evacuate him and took the pilot away.
In turn, OSINTtechnical suggested that the Russian Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down by an unguided missile fired by another Su-25, its partner.
