Cat owners provide their pets with separate seats on plane
A passenger flight from the United States to Paris, France, has sparked heated debate online after a man took four cats on board, giving them their own window seat and a cozy blanket.
Traveling with pets isn't for everyone. Some people leave their animals with friends or in a pet hotel, but for a blogger, being separated from their furry companions is not an option. This is not the first time he's flown around the world with them and shares his experience on social media.
The video shows the man going through security with the cats, placing them by the window, and taking care of them during the eight-hour flight. The cats patiently waited for takeoff, looked out the window, and slept peacefully for most of the flight. An hour before landing, he took them to the toilet with a portable litter box, and after landing, he put two in a stroller, one on a leash, and the other in his arms.
However, TikTok users were divided in their opinions about the advisability of such a trip.
"I would pay more to sit next to them", "I would walk past the passenger over and over again to get the courage to ask to pet the cat", "This is my nightmare as an allergy sufferer", "Airlines should notify passengers in advance if there are animals on board. My husband has asthma and my son's face swells when he sees cats," they wrote.
At the same time, some users remembered crying babies in the cabin and noted: "People are outraged by cats, but not babies? Where is the logic?"
