Monkey tried to steal a mirror from the house of Malaysian residents
In Malaysia, a black-footed gray langur entered a residential building. The primate liked the mirror and tried to steal it.
An unusual incident occurred in the Malaysian state of Malacca. A black-footed gray langur entered a private house and tried to steal a mirror. The footage shows the confused owners trying to drive away the uninvited guest. The man throws a pillow at the animal, but the langur continues to stubbornly pull the mirror towards the exit. The situation was resolved when one of the household members managed to intercept the mirror and close the door, leaving the monkey empty-handed.
The owner of the house, Auni, explained that the door was briefly left ajar when her brother went out to the car. The langur, taking advantage of the moment, immediately headed for the mirror, as if he knew in advance what he wanted to take. The incident lasted for about three minutes and left the family, especially the child, very scared - at first they thought an aggressive macaque had broken into the house.
Auni notes that her parents sometimes feed the monkeys in the garden, which could have attracted the animals. After this incident, the particular langur has not been seen again, although its relatives continue to visit the area near the house.
