In the city of Monrovia, California, a bear named Oreo entered a private home and stole a pack of Oreo cookies.
The incident occurred on May 24. The published video shows the animal leaving the house through the window, holding a pack of Oreos in its mouth.
The same thing happened the next day: the bear again entered the home and stole cookies. “He doesn’t just wander around, but actually enters houses. So now it’s very scary to leave the window and door open in the backyard,” a local resident named Veena Khoury told reporters.
According to her, last year she did not close the garage door, and as a result, a bear got in there too. It is not specified whether it was an Oreo, but the animal stole a chocolate cake from the refrigerator installed in the room.
