As you know, wolves hunt in packs, while bears are usually solitary animals. That is why it is very surprising that the wolf and the bear became best friends. Wildlife experts have no idea how this friendship is even possible.
Animal friendship is quite rare in the wild, especially if the animals belong to different species. The friendship of two predators is a truly unique phenomenon, so photographer Lassi Rautiainen was incredibly surprised when he discovered an amazing union of a she-wolf and a brown bear in the Finnish forests. For ten days, he observed how a female gray wolf and a male brown bear spent the entire night together - from 8 pm to 4 am. They even shared food with each other.
“No one can know for sure how or why the young wolf and the bear became friends,” the 56-year-old photographer tells the Daily Mail. “I think perhaps because they are both lonely, young and have no experience of survival yet.” alone... It's great to share unique photos and talk about rare wildlife events that you never expected to see."
