A teenager from the USA became a millionaire thanks to a board game he invented at the age of seven

Taco vs Burrito is a card game where you try to build the best burrito or taco by adding tasty ingredients and ruining your opponents’ dishes.

Taco vs Burrito, which has sold over 1.5 million copies on Amazon, is based on the idea of creating the “weirdest, craziest” dish using a variety of game cards, including wild cards like Food Fight, Bellyache, and Trash Panda. The game is designed for two to four players aged six and up. Each round lasts about 10 minutes.

Alex’s mother, Leslie Pearson, said the idea came to her son during a family outing. But no one could have imagined what a child’s imagination would lead to. However, six months later, they were still discussing and tweaking the game. Ultimately, it led to Alex’s father, Mark Butler, creating a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to help launch it.

Leslie and Mark then officially set up a company to produce the game and made Alex the majority shareholder. They initially sold the board game themselves, which sold out within a week and soon became one of the most popular games on the site. They later decided to sell it to PlayMonster for cash. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
