Chevrolet Corvette tuned as a fighter jet (12 photos)

The European studio Mxtrem Automobili has published renderings of its Maverick project. This is a current Chevrolet Corvette with a new body, the design of which is close to the appearance of military fighters. In total, it is planned to assemble only 12 such cars, and several first copies have already been ordered.





The body design of Mxtrem Maverick is replete with intersecting planes, numerous angles and air intakes in combination with various flaps. The stern is decorated with two keels in the style of military aircraft, between which are placed false nozzles of jet engines. Finally, the coupe is equipped with many models of missiles. All new parts are promised to be made of carbon.

The aviation theme is continued in the interior design. The standard steering wheel has been replaced with a control column, red toggle switches have appeared, and an aircraft joystick, whose purpose is not disclosed, is installed on the central tunnel.

The creators call the Maverick a fighter on wheels that James Bond would envy, and claim that it will become a real collector's item. The widest personalization options are promised, while the cost of the car is not named. They are ready to build the Maverick on the basis of any of the currently existing versions of the Corvette - the standard Stingray, the charged Z06 or the hybrid E-Ray.
