A goat that ended up on a fifth-floor ledge was rescued in Spain (5 photos)
A surprising incident occurred in Madrid: a goat somehow climbed onto the ledge of the fifth floor. To save it, firefighters used rather risky methods.
"Our job is to save animals. This time we received a report of a goat on the ledge of the fifth floor!" — the firefighters shared on their social media page.
The rescuers made a bridge and put some carrots in an attempt to lure the frightened goat onto the balcony. The idea was successful, and when the animal was safe, joyful cries were heard from the street.
The rescuers retreated so as not to scare the goat. “Don’t touch her, don’t touch her,” the specialist said. “She’s walking on her own. Leave her alone.”
Eventually, a firefighter snuck up and grabbed the goat. The animal was handed over to the Madrid Veterinary Emergency Service, and a new home is already being sought for it.
It still remains a mystery where the goat came from in the apartment building.
