A collection of rare cars has been discovered on an abandoned estate in the UK, sitting in the open air for years. Among them is a purple 1970s Triumph GT6 coupe that has been well preserved despite its long lay-by.
The collection also includes a 1967 Triumph Herald 1200, a 1970s Toyota Celica, several first and second generation Toyota MR2s, Lotus Elise sports cars and Mercedes SLKs, including the SLK55 AMG version with a 5.5-liter V8 engine. In addition, there are two 1990s Mitsubishi Pajero SUVs on the property.
Some cars have inspection certificates from 2014 to 2022, which indicates their recent operation. The reasons for the neglect of the collection are currently unknown; it is assumed that the owner may have died, and the heirs have not yet entered into rights.
