Abandoned iconic cars on the streets of Japan (23 photos + 1 video)
The author of the YouTube channel Dino DC collected in a 15-minute video several iconic and world-famous models that he found abandoned on the streets and parking lots of Japanese cities. Each has its own story, which ended with long years of inactivity.
For example, the owner of a Toyota MR2 sports car said that he was unable to repair the car after a serious breakdown. But he couldn’t part with her because of nostalgic feelings. Toyota Altezza (aka Lexus IS) and Mazda RX-7 have literally grown into the ground, but through the grass you can see rare and non-factory rims.
The classic Nissan Skyline Kenmeri 2000 GTX also went through a number of modifications. That did not save him from oblivion and rust. Its successor, which gained popularity after the release of The Fast and the Furious, also lies idle under a layer of dust. But this is the Skyline GT-R V-Spec II R34, of which about 1,800 were produced.
And it’s really strange to see the rare and collectible BMW M3 E30 and M5 E34, Honda NSX and Ford RS2000 abandoned.
