Pensioner Mark Foden nursed an injured bird back to health and released it into the wild. However, the grateful owl has not forgotten its savior and now often flies to his house.





Every night, an unexpected guest appears at the house of 63-year-old British Mark Foden - an owl he rescued named Tiberius. The man nursed the bird back to health, and now the feathered friend regularly visits him, which is recorded by CCTV cameras.

Mark Foden found the owl in critical condition several months ago on the parade ground of a military barracks in Plymouth. The bird was exhausted and could not feed itself. A caring pensioner literally saved it from starvation, patiently feeding and caring for it until it fully recovered.



When Tiberius got stronger, Mark released him into freedom. However, the owl did not forget her savior and now regularly returns to his house. Each time her arrival is recorded by an outdoor Ring CCTV camera with a high-quality night mode, allowing you to capture touching moments of the meeting.

"He was very emaciated, I think he hadn't been fed for a long time. He was literally on the edge. At first he didn't want to eat, we had to feed him by hand. But now he's grown into a wonderful guy. When I let him out, he didn't immediately understand what was happening, he came back several times. Now he flies back on his own," Mark recalls.



Mark says that from the first days he noticed Tiberius' special character.

"He was quite stubborn, but I saw that he wanted to live. He just needed help," he noted.

For several weeks, the retiree looked after the bird, creating comfortable conditions for it and monitoring its diet. Over time, the owl began to trust its savior and even allowed him to hold it in his arms.

When it was time to let Tiberius go, the man filmed the moment. However, he did not expect that the bird would return more than once, as if expressing gratitude for saving his life.
