The interior of the first Li Auto electric crossover has been declassified (10 photos)

Lixiang has published official photos of the interior of the i8 model, which will be the first Li Auto battery-powered crossover. Shortly before this, spy shots of the i8 interior appeared on the Internet, which show a little more detail. Pre-orders for the i8 in China will open on July 17, and the full premiere is scheduled for July 29.





While the body design of the Li Auto i8 is noticeably different from the brand's hybrid SUVs and is more reminiscent of a minivan, there have been no serious changes in the interior. As far as can be judged from the photos, the inside of the electric car will be almost identical to other Lixiang models. It will receive the same large touchscreen on the dashboard and a similar steering wheel with touch buttons and a miniature display at the top, displaying the most relevant information.

Both official and spy photos of the Li Auto i8 show a six-seater interior, where the second row has individual seats. Both are equipped with armrests, the right one has a retractable footrest. You can also see a large transparent insert in the roof, and in one of the unofficial photos, a ceiling screen for rear passengers and a miniature touch panel are visible. The equipment of the electric car will include two wireless chargers. There are no other details about the i8 configuration yet.

With a length of 5085 mm, the Li Auto i8 has a wheelbase of 3050 mm. According to preliminary data, the model is powered by two Lixiang engines with a total output of 544 hp. The Chinese press also provides information about the battery capacity - 90.052 and 97.842 kWh, with which the crossover will be able to travel 670 or 720 km. Earlier, it was reported about a 102.7-kilowatt battery.

According to one version, the Li Auto i8 will be priced at 400 thousand yuan. According to another, the cost of the new product will be close to the price tag of competitors. For example, for a comparable in size Onvo L90 from Nio in China they are asking at least 279,900 yuan.
