Residents of the city report that the target of the air attack was the "Ya. M. Sverdlov Plant", which was sanctioned by both Ukraine and a number of Western countries. Russian media and Telegram channels note that smoke appeared over the city during the drone attack.

The said enterprise is one of the largest manufacturers of industrial explosives in Russia. It specializes in the production of charges for the mining industry, as well as materials for seismic and geophysical work.
