The Russian Defense Ministry announced the alleged shooting down of 110 drones over Russian regions
The Russian Defense Ministry claims that on the night of October 20, 2024, 110 Ukrainian drones were allegedly destroyed over 7 Russian regions. As Censor.NET reports, this is reported by Russian media. 
The largest number of drones - 43 - were allegedly shot down over the territory of the Kursk region. Another 27 drones were shot down over the Lipetsk region. 18 - over Orlovskaya, 8 - over Nizhegorodskaya, 7 - over Belgorodskaya, 6 - over Bryanskaya, 1 - over Moskovskaya (the debris fell in the Ramensky urban district
Moscow region
At about 02:46 local time, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, reported on Telegram that air defense allegedly intercepted a drone that was heading to Moscow in the Ramensky urban district. 
Lipetsk region
The governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, reported on his Telegram channel about the alleged "suppression" of drones in the skies over Lipetsk and the Lipetsk municipal district.
"Special services are working at the site of the debris fall," he said Russian official, calling not to publish photos and videos of the consequences of drone attacks or their flights online.
At 02:22, he reported that the wreckage of the drone fell on the road near the Syrsky Rudnik. Around 3 a.m., Artamonov added that there were no casualties. 
At the same time, footage of explosions and a fire in the Lipetsk region appeared online, which, according to eyewitnesses, were the result of a drone attack.
Oryol Region
This region reported a drone attack on Saturday evening, stating that air defense systems allegedly shot down 18 drones.
Oryol Region Governor Andrei Klichkov clarified that this happened "on the territory of the region." According to him, there are no casualties or damage, and emergency services are working on the scene.
Later at night, he added that air defense shot down four more drones in the region.
Kursk Region
The drone attack in Kursk Region has been reported online since the evening of Saturday, October 19. Governor Alexey Smirnov wrote on Telegram that air defense systems in the region shot down 8 aircraft-type drones at about 21:30.
However, videos appeared online in which explosions were heard that night, probably due to the air defense during a new drone attack. In particular, explosions were heard in Kursk and near the city of Zheleznogorsk.
Recall that unknown drones attacked Nizhny Novgorod Region at night. The explosions thundered in the area of the "Ya. M. Sverdlov Plant", which produces explosives.
