The Russian authorities announced a drone attack; an oil depot is on fire in the Smolensk region

A night drone attack on April 24, 2024 was announced in the Lipetsk and Smolensk regions of Russia. This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian Telegram channels.

During the attack, a UAV crashed in an industrial zone of the city of Lipetsk. There are no casualties. Law enforcement officers are working at the scene.

Local residents noted that drones attacked the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant (NLMK). However, there is no confirmation of this information yet.

At the same time, the governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin reported a fire at an oil depot after a drone attack. There were at least 4-5 explosions there.
